Gutter Service that works with slate roof?

Search doesn't seem to narrow this down very concisely - sorry to have to post this as a question. Anyway, we have a slate roof and are looking to have our gutters cleaned. I've called around, and some gutter companies will not work on slate roofs. I've had bad experiences in the past with one or two that I won't ever hire again.....has anyone with a slate roof found a gutter cleaning person/company who they might recommend? (The man who used to do ours has moved out of the area). TIA for any names you recommend/don't recommend for slate.
