Good, reasonable framing place?

Looking to frame a certificate -- need a nice job but don't want to break the bank. Thanks

If it's a standard size, like a diploma, you can get a pre-made frame. Check out Jerry's Artist Outlet in West Orange. They also do framing.

Or you could see Rick at the Framing Mill on Ridgewood

Frames and Framers in Millburn I have found the most reasonable - agree, depends on what you want since often certificate frames can be found online.

They did a great job for us, but for a certificate, I would check out the supply of stock frames at Michael's or even the frames at Marshall's or TJ Maxx or HomeGoods. Certificates are mostly in stock sizes. That's by far your least expensive option.

If it's a standard size certificate, you could also try BB&B. I do like to shill for our hometown local small shops, though. Can't help it!

Yes, BB&B is also a good option, although I don't love their frames most of the time. I also agree with you about supporting individual local businesses, but framing is SO costly that it's hard to recommend one of those shops when a stock frame will work.

We ended up in the (huge!) framing department of Jerry's art supplies in Essex Green. Lovely guy, very helpful. Gave us a "diploma rate" for matting and framing the piece -- about half the quotes I got elsewhere. I'll let oyu know how it turns out!

Nice! Hope it turns out well. oh oh
