Good place in Koreatown

My nephew from California is visiting and staying in NYC. We're meeting for lunch on Thursday.  He's like to go to a place in Koreatown.  I haven't eaten there in years.  What's a good one?

Can’t help, but where is Koreatown? Queens somewhere?

Midtown Manhattan

 Where?

Baek Jeong, Miss Korea (no, not sketchy... ‘miss’ as in nostalgic), Don’s Bogam.

Can’t really go too wrong with most of the places there... just don’t step into an empty one.

Her Name Is Han. Osamil. Hangawi. Mandoo Bar for dumplings.

Thanks all.  I'll let you know where we wind up.

gaonnuri.  gives you the view.

For those who like Korean, but don't want to go into the city; I can't recommend Kimchi Hana in South Plainfield enough.

Love this place.  It can be a bit pricey.  My son and I ate there a month ago - two orders of Wang Kal Bei & Jab Che and sodas - with tip over $100.

Luckily, I wasn't the one paying last time (Saturday, so the deliciousness is fresh in my mind).  I used to share an office with a guy who was Korean-American. He insisted that I wouldn't know good Korean food until I told him that Kimchi Hana was my go-to.  Then he had to concede that I did have a good spot.  grin

Late response, but we like BCD Tofu House on 32nd Street in NYC.  Will try Kimchi though.
