Might work better if you could post a picture of the dog in case someone reading this thread (not necessarily the dog's human companion) knows where the dog lives. Checking with local vets may also help with identification.
Hi Joan - I will post a picture as soon as possible, but I figured I could find out if anyone is missing a dog.
Thanks, blianderson! Just got home and I see you beat me to the punch!
Yes, happy to report that pooch and family were reunited! A Maplewood dog adventure ends well (although I think Mrs. Copyprof secretly hoped he'd end up ours). Thank you for the help and the interest.

Hi everyone. I haven't posted in ages, but Mrs. Copyprof, while on her dog-walking route today, found a lost dog. He had a leash and a collar, but no tags and is not chipped. She called the Maplewood and SO police departments, but no lost dogs have been reported.
The pup is very well behaved and must be missed by his family. Anyone missing a dog or know of a missing dog? If so, give me a description or attach a pic and we can see if he's yours.
