We walked 1.5 miles to have lunch at this Mexican place on Springfield Ave. today. Worthy. I recommend.
I’m only hoping it was 1.5 miles uphill to open up your appetite….
They are a nice addition to that spot. Panda kitchen has outlived so many others who have been there, I hope Alfredo sticks around for many years to come.

Alterior motive was to burn calories to feel less guilty about continuing to devour my birthday cake(s), my birthday always being around Thanksgiving.
Finally made it to El Rey for the first time tonight and really enjoyed it. We had the Al Pastor and Cochinita Pibil tacos, both delicious. First I devoured the guacamole, and when I asked if they had iced tea, which they don’t, the waiter’s recommendation of the hibiscus agua fresca hit the spot.
I’ll walk tomorrow.
Thanks, bub.
Nothin against El Rey but I'm stickin with the Cactus Man.
