Easter Egg Hunt @Orchard Park Bunnies - thank you !!

Hi MOL'ers

It's that time of the year !!! I'm happy to announce our 5th year consecutive Easter Egg Hunt snake

Place: Orchard Park in Maplewood
Time: 2:00pm
Date: Abril 4th, 2015 (Saturday).

*Cancelled if it rains or snow.*

If you decide to bring your little ones (from babies, toddler and small kids) please bring at least 12 stuffed eggs for each child you bring for the hunt, this way each child can hunt/receive at least 12 eggs. You can fill the eggs with candy, little toys, stickers, fruit snack etc. Don't forget to bring your basket or bag !!

Please join us for this fun egg hunting, everyone is welcome to join us !! Feel free to socialize and meet other parents (it's always a hit).

Don't let the religious aspect of Easter stop you from coming and enjoying, it is a celebration of the season and new beginnings, egg hunt is a lot of fun for the little ones.

Hope to see you all !! RSVP if you wish so I can have an idea how many families will attend!!
Can't wait to see everyone running around for eggs wink

Ps- any questions please let me know.

@jodi ask and you should receive :-D

This is fantastic! I didn't know you organized this for years now. I've been scared to bring my 2 yr old to the bigger egg hunts for fear of being trampled and getting beaten to the punch. +2 littles

@Duffy1

Hope you can make it !! :-D

One of the reason I decided to do this .. It was a bit overwelming for my young ones ... It got to the point they didn't enjoyed it very much having the older kids pushing or running over them. It was to much.

17 days for our Easter Egg Hunt for the littles ones !! wink

Feel free to RSVP !! So we can have an idea how many family will join us !

I love that this event is still goingoh oh It was so nice meeting so many local young families in a smaller setting! Wishing you good weather and lots of fun for all.

Corey oh oh

@eyetry

I hope you can make it .. After all you are part of this :X

2:00 is the middle of nap time for the little one, but hopefully we can make it towards the end. oh oh

Count us in for a family of four!

@frankandleo

Wonderful !! It will be a lot of fun !!

Just wanted to say .,

I'll be face painting for the little ones .. Of course the theme is Easter .. Bunny faces and eggs ..

That would be wonderful !! I am hoping that it doesn't turn out to be COLD /grin

Thank you very much for setting this up. My wife and I will be there with our two kids.

We will be there with our 3yr old if he happens to not be napping at the time! He had a ball last year. We ended up 'recreating' the egg hunt in our backyard at least 3 times because he loved it so much. I am sure he will have an even better time this year!

@HarleyQuinn,

What is the max age recommended/suggested?

@pmartinezv -I don't have a max age ... but i try to keep it for the toddlers and little kids, so they can take there time picking up there eggs and enjoy the process. I do not wish the little ones and parents to feel rushed grabbing those eggs.

this SATURDAY !!

I will go a bit early (around 1pm) so i can have time to paint some bunny faces to the little one (its on me).

i cant wait wink

Cool thanks. I wanted to make some of my neighbors aware but was not sure who I should invite as the are multiple age ranges, but I do prefer we keep it toddler age (for my own selfish reasons of course!).

i understand, but if toddlers and little kids have older siblings they are welcome.

but i guess the age limit would be around 6 years old.

That is what I had in mind. Thanks!

My almost 6 year old will be there with my 2 year old and I have told him time and time again that he is to 1) find only his share of eggs 2) help his little sister "discover" them if she is having trouble 3) not trample smaller children because they are not as fast as he is. He also knows that if he doesn't play fair with the little ones, he'll sit and watch the fun instead.

Also, is there going to be an actual Easter bunny there? My daughter is terrified of them.

@tais

Love your post !! That is very thoughtful and I'm sure your son will help his sister.
I like the idea of older kids helping the little ones.

And no worries, their will be no actual Easter Bunny.

I plan to attend with my 2.5 year old twin daughters.
