Door Dash or Grubhub?

Is one better regarding delivery fees?  treatment of their delivery staff?  access to SOMA restaurants?

Since COVID has made dropping off a casserole undesirable, we thought a gift certificate to a food delivery service would help a friend who is taking care of a sick spouse (thankfully not COVID).

Door Dash has more restaurants, IMO, and much better tracking and customer service. They are a little more expensive. Uber Eats has a wider selection than either one of those, but is even more more expensive and their customer service is terrible. We still use Uber for a few places that only they service, but if anything goes wrong it's a real pain to get in contact with them to correct it.

OTOH, I think dropping off a casserole can be done pretty safely.

Personally I agree, but they specifically asked people not to drop off food.

I have to admit, I wonder if they are using COVID as an excuse to avoid a freezer full of lasagna ;-)

Who wouldn't want a freezer full of lasagna?

Well, it depends on the lasagna.
