Difficulty accessing Forum Categories

Oddly, I can get to My Discussions and My Bookmarks, but when I click on Forum Discussions, I get a "permission denied" message. I've only managed to get to this overview Forum Categories page once, and I don't recall how (fortunately, I saved the URL). What am I missing? How do I get from "Home" to "Forums"?

No. On a MacBook Air using Chrome.

I think that Dave or Jamie posted somewhere that they are investigating this issue.  Many of us came here via the link https://maplewood.worldwebs.com/

unicorn33, if you have a minute, where did you find your bookmarks?

TIA

Never mind!  Found!

under your name - dropdown upper right.

jamie, thanks, and, do people get banned if they ask too many dumb questions?

All of my discussions I started are in My Discussions. What is Joined Discussions? That list contains discussions I didn't participate in. And where is my Participated Discussions? Thanks.

See the thread titled "Participated Discussions".  (I think Joined Discussions is the same thing, though not as easy to use, but I'm not sure.)

I have no idea how to navigate between my own discussions and the general website. Pretty frustrating right now. I believe I read the Participated Discussions thread and didn't seem to help; I'll try again. I can tell you that Joined Discussions is incorrect. It may have been discussions I looked at but definitely didn't participate in.

When you're in "My Account" or doing private messaging, how do you get back to the "Maplewood Online" and the forum categoreis?  There isn't any "Maplewood Online" at the top left corner of the screen, only the Worldwide Web thingy.

Can't sign in on desktop even though it says I'm already signed in... clicking the sign in button brings me to an outline form of bulleted stuff under my account, which shows ctrzaska as if I'm already signed in.  Odd   Can't get in at all but for my iPhone.  Sigh.

ETA this is on IE9

Dave or Jamie posted that they are working on that.

When in a discussion, go to the top and type https:/     before the 'Maplewood.worldwens...'

This allows me to stay logged in...someone else's idea yesterday.

Interesting, but still nothing.   Can't change avatar (lined-out circle), outline-style bullets still there, and I've no clue how to even see the forums .   Sigh.

I set up a bookmark for the Maplewood Online and forum categories on my bookmark toolbar so I always know where to find it (that's on Mac).

Can't figure out how to start a discussion.

On the Discussions page ("home"?), top right, just below your name, there's big + sign.  (which I clicked on by mistake)

Duplicate post. Bumped me back up to the top of the discussion instead of displaying my comment. Had to click through to the second page to see it.

Oo, oo, oo! I just figured out how to "star" something and how to start a new discussion! Eureka!

Can you try Firefox or another browser?

I just noticed this also - will make a note of it.

It's work. IE or nothing, sadly.

FWIW I got the avatar to work though.   So there's that at least.   Did it via IOS.

Workaround for now: Click on My Discussions, then one of the threads. From there, access to Forum Categories.

Serves you right for posting at work ;-)

LOL.   Finding it incredibly hard to justify my increased productivity at the moment...
