Is the football in a different division this year?
They are in the second year of a two season cycle, and are in the Super Football Conference, in the Liberty Blue Division with Montclair, East Orange, Livingston, Bloomfield, West Orange and Newark East Side.
Some of the great local coverage the team had this week,

Long-shot question: Would anyone know how to get hold of a picture that was printed in the News-Record, probably fall 2004, showing a row of happy (but not necessarily too bright) CHS fans, shirtless, with the letters COLUMBIA (I think) spelled out on their chests? Our son was in the pic. Our copy has gone missing, and we are now in Wisconsin, not easy to drop by the N-R office.
Thanks for any ideas, and Enjoy the game!

One of these days, some football player who was injured, maybe 19 years ago, is gonna present the M/So BoE with a "knew, or should have known" suit about the dangers of playing football. A few schools in the U.S. have already eliminated football from their athletic program.

The Cougars host Livingston this Friday night, 11/1, at 7pm. 13 senior football players and the senior members of the cheerleaders will be honored at 6:30 and the senior members of the band will be honored at half-time. The in-stand size of the CHS Marching Band will almost double that night, with visiting middle school musicians sitting in for some tunes.
Tonight's game marks the final regular season game of a season that has been an enormous turnaround for our high school football program. Come cheer the team on and celebrate the seniors from the team, cheer and band who have worked hard for years to represent Cougar pride!
