He used to write for the Star Ledger, now he has a blog. I first started seeing him write about the CHS team last year, though he may have written about them before. I know he’s followed the team for years.
CHS is definitely the underdog, so I ignore the prediction at the end because the same writer didn’t think they’d beat Bayonne. They weren’t even mentioned.

Columbia HS Softball will play for their first state sectional title in FORTY years today, vs. second seed North Hunterdon.
The Cougars (5th seed) beat Edison, Bayonne (4th seed) and top seeded Westfield to get to this final round.
