Why not roast your own? Porto R is charging $100 for a roasted pound of Kona. Green Kona beans range between $36 and $39 per pound, depending on the year's harvest. A "roast" takes about 20 minutes and is relaxing.
Other green coffee beans average from $4 to 10 per pound and are excellent. The coffee you roast and grind yourself is unlike anything you are going to get in your local diner.
A beginner roaster costs $200 OR you can even use a popcorn air popper but you get less control.
I have no desire to roast my own but have fun doing so. At least you bumped up a helpful post albeit with a non-sequitur.
Sale goes on until the end of April by the way.
Very non-sequitur. Especially in light of the fact that Wendy wants to support that business - one that I am also familiar with for many years.

Thank you sbenois. Much appreciated.
I intend to order from them, but you know what they say about intentions, good and all...

Porto Rico is my favorite coffee roaster who I discovered in the 80's in law school. They just started their Springtime sale. In the fall the owner Peter Longo has his birthday sale. I have no affiliation with this place except that I've been getting my coffee there for years (buy several pounds whole bean and freeze it appropriately in my deep freezer in zip lock bags). Peter's blend is my go to coffee blend. Free shipping over a certain amount.

I bought Peter’s Blend for years ❤️. He had a store near where I lived. It’s a great shop.
My wife worked near Porto Rico for years and they were our go to coffee roaster when we lived in MAPSO. Their French Roast was always outstanding.

Shipping is free to anywhere in the lower 48 all the time if you order over $75 worth. Not hard to do but some folks split their order with a local friend.
Peter's birthday sale is going on now. Peter is about my age. I think I even spoke to him once when I called and ordered several years ago. I definitely once spoke to his wife about manual pour-overs (which I use) versus other ways of brewing. My order arrives today. Yay.
