Car inspection this month

Last year many/most inspections were postponed due to covid.  My car would be due for inspection this month- under normal circumstances.  Have any inspections been postponed, so far, for this year.  Couldn't find info on the website and absolutely NO ONE in site in vid of current line at Newark.

Well, it is a good time of the month (any month) to go in the middle of the month. I was able to go to the one in Newark (albeit three months ago) and drive straight up to the building with no line.

It also seems a bit of a crap-shoot as to when a cop would pull you over for a lapsed sticker as mine was a full nine months (!) over-due before it dawned on me that I was it was so.

not as far as I know. even if the MVC is closed, the inspection stations seem to stay open as they operate separate.

i see cars in Newark now.  the queue line feed is a joke....you can't tell if the wait is a few minutes or a few hours unless the line is very short...same with rahway.

Newark MVC was empty yesterday.  Just check the camera online before you go.

Second for Newark inspection station.  Was there in the Fall and also in and out quickly and safely

My question was if there were any inspection extensionns this year bc of covid.  Friday I checked the webcam and there weren't any cars or people in sight.  This led me to believe that there may have been extensions.

Since I haven't any mention of such I'll go this week.

my car was due in Oct and there weren't any extensions then...in fact ..cars that s due earlier in the year had expired in Sept.  I kept checking the cameras in Sept hoping to go early..but often there was a line....I went early Oct and there was no line at all.

i think the 2nd group that expired in august or september were extended to dec.....but that is when all the extensions expired.
