Can’t open .pdf files from websites in Chrome
Apparently this was a Chrome problem. It did not occur under Safari. Yesterday Google updated Chrome, and the problem now appears to have been resolved.

This problem suddenly began a few days ago, and I have no clue why. When I try to open a .pdf file from a web page link, I just get a blank screen showing no more than a line or two of the file. No problem viewing pdf files once downloaded. I'm using Chrome on a Macbook (OSX 10.9.5). Any suggestions for a fix?
