Looks like water main, if you're close to the SO border it could be related to the NJAW interconnection.
What happens if one of these things falls off and rolls over me while I am walking down the street?
We'll miss you.

Yes, that's for the new water connection I believe that Trustee Levison posted about the work in another thread.
Looks like 12"-14" diameter ductile iron pipe, so definitely for water main. You really wouldn't want one of them rolling over you.

Keystone XL comes to Maplewood.
I don't know if that's Keystone XL, tjohn. By the look of the size of the pipes in the photo, they're more of a Keystone Medium.
New charge pipes for the even bigger turbo setup going into my integra stay tuned
Finally getting the new beer utility in. A meter and tap in every house. Beer supplied by EOBC.
I'm worried about these pipes lying around in the open. What if ISIS decides to sabotage them?

But will it have PERC in it?
I'm happy to talk about beer after we resolve exactly why these pipes are on the street. When I asked the Township what they were doing there, they said, "We don't know. You'll have to call someone and find out. Maybe try New Jersey American Water."
So I called them and they passed me onto a publicist, who refused to let me send her my pictures.
What kind of lady refuses pictures of your pipes?
The next phase will then begin on the DPW access road and for the intake line along Walton across to Audley to Kendal to E. Cedar to S. Ridgewood where it will be connected to the NJAW main.

They don't show up on Google Street View. I doubt they are really there.

They didn't actually say, "Call someone," did they?
I cannot believe it took this long for someone to make a pipe innuendo.

I think everyone was afraid of stereotyping, and its repercussions, since they are "big black pipes."
I know that's why I had been silent on this thread. Can't speak for anyone else, though.

I was driving down Kendal Ave. and saw all these big black pipes in the street. What's up?
