I can’t imagine they won’t extend those dates, since we are supposed to be on roads as little as possible?
I hate to admit this but I once realized that I had been driving around with an expired sticker for nine months.
I feel like I read that DMVs are closed, and only online transactions can be done. I cannot see anyone getting in trouble for overdue inspection during a mandatory statewide lockdown.
there is a 2 month extension at this point. My car was due the month Sandy hit. I hurt my arm early in the month and couldn't really drive for 3 weeks. The friday before Sandy was the 1st day I could drive. I left my house, made a left and the check engine light came on....luckily they announced they would be extended so I had time to get it fixed.
if you really wanted, private garages are open and can do an inspection.
