Still no luck. I guess I never should have bought that cheap property in the Bermuda Triangle.

My precise steps, in case this helps:

Click the Politics link under the blue SubForums bar (on the left of the main MOL Forums screen on my tablet, at the bottom on my phone).

On the Politics page, there is a “+” button. (“+ Add” on phone, “+ Start a new discussion” on tablet.)

Click that, and the Category drop-down gives one option — Soapbox: All Politics.

ok, on desktop - one link is working - one isn't - I'll try to fix this shortly - or by morning:

The button only works properly on the main page - not working right if you're in a discussion.

ok I believed I fixed it.  Thanks for the heads up - took me awhile to pinpoint the issue,

Jamie, will you evaluate the results of the isolation of all politics and share them? I seem to be reading less of the other categories on MOL, which I have always found interesting and helpful, with this change. Any feedback?

I haven't looked at the metrics yet, but it appears that more posters are posting since the switch and on more topics.  And a number of people who haven't posted in awhile appear to be coming back.

The politics section really hogged the main space and I know that's it's been a turnoff to some.  So, the new structure feels much better for the community overall, I think I just need to figure the layout.  It's always tricky because you need it to work for mobile and desktop.  I'll be highlighting some other new features soon as well.

you can click on "Forums" in the nav at the top.  Are you looking for a link at the bottom of the page?
