A view from afar - of the land down-under

With world travel slowly beginning to open up again it might be time to add Australia to your bucket list.

Sure it's expensive to get to the Land of Oz, but it's expensive to get to just about everywhere else, too, so why not splurge on what could be the holiday of a lifetime?

David Mason, who is an American professor, writer and poet laureate of Colorado, has done it, and says there's a lot to like about Australia.

It’s still warm here too, as the seasons are reversed: we’re in late summer just now, about to launch into what’s laughingly referred to as Autumn in March. (Most places are quite pleasant in temperature; leaves don’t really change colour or fall from trees for a couple of months)
