TODAY!! "Happy Together": The Maplewood Glee Club's Spring Concert with special guests CHS Unaccompanied Minors

GET HAPPY TOGETHER!

At the Maplewood Glee Club Spring Concert, Sunday May 5th

It’s time to “get happy” with the Maplewood Glee Club. Their upcoming spring concert, entitled “Happy Together,” is full of songs about happiness, joy and fun. (Now, couldn’t you use more of all those things?) Songs will include “Happy Together,” “Feelin’ Groovy,” “Smile,” Pharrell Williams’ “Happy,” Monty Python’s “Always Look on the Bright Side of Life,” and many other tunes that you’ll know and love. As always, singing along is encouraged … because you know it makes you HAPPY!

The concert will also feature the award-winning a cappella group, Unaccompanied Minors, from Columbia High School in Maplewood, as well as the talented winners of the Glee Club’s annual high school music scholarships.

The program promises to be FUN for young and old, so come on out, sing along, and be part of the HAPPY harmony. You’ll be HAPPY you did.

The concert takes place on Sunday, May 5th at 4 pm at the St. Joseph Church, 767 Prospect Street in Maplewood. The Maplewood Glee Club is North Jersey’s longest-running, sweetest-sounding men’s chorus, with members from all over Essex County and beyond.

 You didn't miss it @ajc it's this Sunday!  And we start back usually the Monday after Labor Day.  Go to The Maplewood Glee Club Facebook page and "like" us for updates.  

BAK:  You will be happy to know that the Mens Glee Club Concert is featured in both May Spotlight and the May 2019 SOMA Two Towns For All Ages Event Calendar.  Both publications are sent to area seniors by subscription.

Ignore the rain. Let's have fun! Today - 4pm - St. Joseph Church in Maplewood - with the Unaccompanied Minors from CHS - young artists James Hwang and Lena Fine - and a bunch of men in tuxes singing songs about happiness!

Thanks again bak, it was by far the best concert ever by the Maplewood Men's Glee Club. A great selection of Happy Together songs, starting with I Want To Be Happy, and ending with Happy. Can't wait to get a copy of the CD or DVD!
