The Mask You Live in: The Masculinity Crisis Facing Boys and Men in America- Join us for a screening of the acclaimed Sundance documentary The Mask You Live In, which follows boys and young men as they struggle to stay true to themselves while negotiating America’s narrow definition of masculinity. Moderated by Laura Booker, LCSW, the screening will be followed by a panel discussion of young men from Maplewood and South Orange speaking on their complex experience of masculinity. Laura Booker, LCSW, is a psychotherapist in Maplewood and NYC who specializes in work with adolescents and families. This evening honors the late Robert U. Redpath, a distinguished former trustee of the Adult School, in whose memory a fund has been established to provide an annual program highlighting his interest in communication and language.
