Taylor/Beckerich Art Opening: Pay Attention

Firehouse Lofts Gallery/Valley Arts District Welcome and PAY ATTENTION, an exhibition featuring the artwork of Sylvia Taylor and Eric Beckerich, accompanied by the amazing sounds of Clive Smith and Bill Weisbach. The collage/mixed media work of Sylvia Taylor and the sculpture of Eric Beckerich are influenced by observation. Together the work interacts, creates a conversation, challenges our perspective. What is revealed and what is concealed? Pay Attention. The work questions our choice of what we see and what we choose to not see, what is presented to us and what is hidden from us. Responding to the artwork and adding another layer, Clive Smith and Bill Weisbach will be performing atmospheric, electro-acoustic, instrumental music that goes where songs seldom venture, providing a multi-sensory experience for those attending the reception on March 11 from 7:00 to 9:00 pm.
