Event Date: October 14th, 2014 at 7:30pm - 9:00pm
Address : 300 E Northfield Road
Town : Livingston
Information:

This November New Jersey, with the rest of the nation, holds its regular biannual elections for Congress, as well as an election for one of its Senate seats. Temple B’nai Abraham historically prides itself as a forum of wide ranging discussion and community involvement and as such, we are pleased to host appearances by the major party candidates for Senate, Cory Booker and Jeff Bell, and for the 11th Congressional District, in which most of us live, Rodney Frelinghuysen and Mark Dunec. At these four individual visits to the congregation, the candidates will speak about themselves, their beliefs and their visions for the state and the country, and we will have ample opportunity to pose the questions we have as Jews, residents of New Jersey, and citizens of the United States. The schedule is as follows: Running for the 11th Congressional District: Mark Dunec, Monday, October 6, 7:30 PM | US Congressman Rodney Frelinghuysen, date to be announced, and Running for the US Senate: Jeff Bell, Tuesday, October 14, 7:30 PM | US Senator Cory Booker, Sunday, October 19, 11:00 AM. These events are under the auspices of Temple B’nai Abraham’s Congregational Learning, co-chaired by Alyce Sands Miller and Steve Delman. This series is free and open to the community.
