interACT Theatre Productions will be checking into “Plaza Suite,” the Neil Simon comedy, with performances over two weekends, April 12-April 14 and April 19-April 21. One of Neil Simon\'s most popular and celebrated plays, Plaza Suite details the misadventures of three very different couples facing crucial moments in their respective lives with hilarious consequences -- all set in the same room in New York\'s world-famous Plaza Hotel. Christine Gaden directs this production for interACT Theatre Productions at its new home at The Baird Theatre, 5 Mead Street, South Orange. Performance times are 7:30 p.m. on Friday and Saturday nights; and 2 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday matinees. Tickets are $15 for the general public and $12 for students/seniors and may be purchased at the box office. Tickets may also be purchased online on interACT\'s website. In this production, Suz Stone and Todd Spangler play a suburban couple who take the suite while their house is being painted and it turns out to the same one in which they honeymooned 23 (or was it 24?) years before, and was yesterday their anniversary, or is it today? Robert Barwick plays a Hollywood producer who tries to rekindle an old flame. Kate Soriano plays his childhood sweetheart. Colleen D\'Alessandro and Larry Shagawat play parents fighting about the best way to get their daughter (played by Rina Cohen) out of the bathroom and down to the ballroom for her wedding. Daniel Jaffe (who plays several roles) and Cristina Ramos round out the hilarious cast. We\'ve put together a fantastic cast of performers who are helping to make this well-known show new and exciting for today\'s audiences,” Gaden said.
