The Junior League of the Oranges and Short Hills, JLOSH, with support from local sponsors, will host Chips For Charity—a Roaring Twenties Casino Night—a fantastic evening of great food, entertainment, fun, prizes and more. The Chips For Charity event will take place Friday, February 26, 2016 at Canoe Brook Country Club in Summit, New Jersey. Event sponsors include Seward & Kissel LLP and Tutela Plastic Surgery. This event is also supported by the generosity of JLOSH Gold sponsor Dun & Bradstreet and Silver sponsor St. Barnabas Health. “JLOSH is excited to revive its wildly successful Chips For Charity event!” said JLOSH President Kelly Sandler of Basking Ridge. “It's a fun and interactive way to bring the community together while helping raise money to support our community efforts. This year is particularly important to JLOSH, as we focus on our new Fill The Need Initiative. Through JLOSH's community work we are trying to help close the gap on food insecurity, school supply gaps, as well as essential clothing and basic hygiene needs of school-aged children living in poverty in our service area. Without events such as these, we would not be able to make such a significant impact in our community. We hope to see everyone there, so we all can have fun and make a difference!" More than 300 JLOSH members and friends are expected to attend the event. The evening will include a live jazz band, exciting casino games, delicious food, premium open bar, a photo booth courtesy of Little Nest Portraits, a silent auction, and a big-win raffle where one lucky person will receive a $1000 shopping spree at The Mall at Short Hills. Proceeds from Chips For Charity will support JLOSH’s community service efforts within local communities. For more information and to register for the event visit www.jlosh.org.
