Indoor winter farmers market at The Woodland

Slow Food Northern NJ and Maplewood Loves Wellness sponsor an indoor farmers market at The Woodland in Maplewood on Sunday, Feb. 1 from noon to 4 p.m. Stock up on local, sustainably produced foods from more than 20 local farmers and food artisans. Among the offerings: seasonal vegetables and fruits; grass-fed beef; sustainably raised pork, lamb, goat; pastured poultry; eggs, cheese, breads, prepared foods. Among the purveyors: Appleridge Farm, Churutabis Farm, Stryker Farm, Phillips Farm, Bobolink Dairy and Bakeyard, Tassot Apiary, Cherry Grove Farm. (Snow date Feb. 8) Admission: a $3 donation to Slow Food NNJ\'s school vegetable garden program. Volunteers needed for this event. Please reply to brantshap@gmail.com
