First Time Ever July 3rd Circus Performances and Zipline!

Come to the Circus July 3rd or 4th.
There are 5 performances to choose from: Tuesday, July 3rd, at 4:30 pm & 7 pm; Wednesday, July 4th, at 1 pm, 3:30 pm & 6 pm. — Wristband Sales Online.
The Zerbini Family Circus will perform rain or shine under the Big Top in Memorial Park's north athletic field. Go online (www.maplewoodcivic.org) to select your choice of show time. Advance purchase discounts and group discounts are available online. You can avoid the line! On July 4th, remaining seats will be sold first-come first-served.
Family owned and operated, the Zerbini family, part of eight generations of circus people, has been in the Circus business for over 250 years. The Zerbini Family Circus is an old-fashioned, small traditional family circus with acrobats, dancing, juggling, clowning, and dog and pony shows performed under the Big Top. In addition, there are concessions including food, pony and camel rides.

Maplewood Fourth of July is bigger than ever
Join us for a full day of festivities in Memorial Park, with live music on two concert stages, a carnival midway, boardwalk games, two food courts, a classic car show, the Zerbini Family Circus, and much, much more!
This year's Fourth of July fairgrounds will be accessible from 4 entrance gates, located throughout the north and south fields of Memorial Park. Our first scheduled activities at Memorial Park begin at 9am.
Wristbands will be required for entry beginning at 10am.
More than 40 activities are included with your General Admission wristband purchase, including everything taking place in The Big Tent, a 4,000+ square foot event space. Also included is our "Play for Free" bingo tent, prize wheel, inflatable zone, hospitality center, and much more!
Select carnival games and amusements will be available for purchase on-site.

• 8:15 a.m. Bikes, Etc Parade steps off from Ricalton Square
• 9:00 a.m. Opening Ceremonies in the Park
• 9:15 a.m. Kids’ Races in the Park
• Baking Contest entries need to be at the Big Tent 9–9:30 a.m.
• Car Show 10 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.

Art Project
A Maplewood 4th of July tradition, the Art Project will be mounted on the big ball field backstop in Memorial Park's South Field. A community-wide enterprise, art begun all around town starting in May will be installed and displayed, each one an opportunity for individual expression while we harness some of our collective desire for inclusion and togetherness. Car Show 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Car owners can enter their vehicles online at www.maplewoodcivic.org. Cool cars, movie cars, celebrity cars, antique cars, collector cars, muscle cars, motorcycles and others. Trophies will be awarded.

Live Music — all-day on Two Stages
Get ready to sing, dance and listen with your favorite local live music bands! Our main stage will feature performances by “The Jersey Girls,” David Beasley and “the Cameos.” The North Field will have the BCB Community Bank Concert Stage featuring an all-day lineup of live bands and local talent. And there will be a Light Show before the fireworks climax of the evening.

Big Tent Events all-day
There will be free activities all day in The Big Events Tent on Memorial Park's South Field. Newly-added attractions as well as perennial favorites such as the Baking Contest, Pet Awards Show, Robotics, Talent Showcase and Ice Cream and other Eating Contests. We'll be posting an event schedule of all activities that will be taking place throughout the day under the tent. Check www.maplewoodcivic.org for times and details.

Baking Contest winners will be announced at 11 am
A notable favorite among the events in the Big Tent is the Baking Contest for all ages: entries need to be at Big Tent in Memorial Park South Field between 9 and 9:30 am. Awards categories include cake, pie, pastry, bread, cookie/bar and presentation. Enter the Enter the July 4th All American Cherry Pie challenge! Description of each required, along with Name & Age. To take place on July 4th, at 9:45 am at The Bake Contest in the Big Tent in Memorial Park. Judging will take place and winners will be announced at 11 am! Food Court all-day
Two expansive food courts means lots of ways to satisfy your appetite! Vendors will operate all day and we will be providing a food area with sheltered and open-air tables and chairs.

Boardwalk Amusements — New This Year: Zipline!
As part of our all-day attractions on Memorial Park's South Field, attractions will include a selection of carnival games such as ring toss and spin the wheel games, bounce houses, an obstacle course, a High Striker and fun house. Nostalgic boardwalk amusements will be provided by a family-owned and operated amusement company with experience spanning over three decades, and dedicated to providing a safe, friendly and fun environment.

Garden State Fireworks
9:25 PM Light show spectacular on both Concert Stages followed by Fireworks Launch: The largest pyrotechnic display ever launched from Memorial Park! Our Fourth of July Festival will culminate with a fireworks display that’s sure to elicit lots of oohs and aahs!

Maplewood’s Annual July 4th celebration has been organized by the July Fourth Committee of the Maplewood Civic Association since 1902. Over a century ago, July Fourth was celebrated in Maplewood with a town-wide picnic, a keynote speaker, athletic contests and barbecues. The Maplewood Civic Association was organized and dedicated to a tradition of family-oriented celebrations.
