The Friends of the South Orange Library $8 BAG SALE 2016 is happening June 12th @ The Baird Center! (5 Mead St. - between Vose Ave and North Ridgewood Road) South Orange, NJ **Sun. Send your volunteer query to: friends@sopl.org BOOK DONATION DAYS: We gratefully accept book donations for our group to sell at our book sale. This allows us to raise funds for the library while creating an enjoyable event for the book lovers in our community. BOOK DONATION DAYS will be Wed June 8th (11am-4pm) and Thurs June 9th (3pm-8pm) at The Baird Center. Note: Donations cannot be accepted at the South Orange library! ** What we can accept as donations: All type (genres) of books - gardening, crafts, art, CHILDRENS, novels, hardcovers, paperbacks, fiction and non-fiction, Sci-fi, romance, how-to, parenting, etc. We also accept music CD\'s DVD\'s and book on CD, childrens games (only if all parts and pieces are included), puzzles (with all pieces) ** We cannot accept the following items: cassettes tapes, or VHS tapes, computer text books, dictionaries, any type of text book, no dirty, moldy or wet books! ** (Our volunteers will take a quick check to assess books BEFORE they are donated to assure that problem items are not accidentally donated. We appreciate your help with this. Books that do not sell create difficulties for our volunteers regarding disposal and transportation.)
