Kayt attended The Fashion Institute of Technology and then became a still-life photographer for the fashion industry. She has since left her photography career to focus on her art work, which is created with bits of hand torn masking tape and string. She has since gone on to be featured in both Nylon and Bust Magazine and has been awarded numerous solo art shows throughout Jersey City and New York City.
