American Classics Book Discussion Series Maplewood Library’s new book group meets monthly to discuss provocative and often controversial titles that probe the questions of who we are and how we see each other. October selections: The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn, by Mark Twain AND the essay “Romancing the Shadow†(from the book Playing in the Dark, by Toni Morrison) Both titles are available through BCCLS with a Maplewood Library card. A Reader’s Guide, which includes the essay, is available at the Main Library circulation desk.
