Bring ideas and food! On World Food Day, please join us for A Conversation to END Hunger. Our goal is to continue to raise awareness, share information, and be a catalyst for taking action to solve the \"silent hunger problem in Maplewood and South Orange.”  We will have speakers invited from government, education, service, religious, and community anti-hunger organizations, and exhibits, plus a forum for discussion and action. The event takes place in the Lower Church, Our Lady of Sorrows, 217 Prospect St, South Orange. Enter via Fourth Street. From 6:30-7:30p.m., there will be an opportunity to meet the speakers and exhibitors and learn about local challenges. A more formal discussion/meeting will take place from 7:30-8:30p.m., and we will wrap up from 8:30-9:00p.m. All donated non-perishable food will be given to the Food Pantries at Our Lady of Sorrows and St Josephs, Maplewood.   Please RSVP to hungerconversation@gmail.com.
